Plan a North Georgia mountain getaway an hour north of Atlanta during the first Unicoi Wine Festival event, 11 am – 5 pm, November 1 at Georgia Historic Site Hardman Farm at the junction of US Highway 75 and Highway 17 just outside of Alpine Helen, Georgia in Sautee Nachoochee. Soak up an autumn mountain day complete with wine tastings and bottle sales from all of White County’s Wineries featured on the Unicoi Wine Trail. Enjoy local fine arts and local handcrafted items, great food and awesome entertainment throughout the day. Tables, chairs and tents will provide an enjoyable relaxing venue for attendees to drink in nature literally while enjoying fine wine and great music. A visit to the Unicoi Wine Market booth will allow patrons of the event to purchase bottles of the favorite award winning Unicoi Wine Trail wines and Unicoi Wine Festival memorabilia. Guided tours of the Historic Hardman Farm will be available throughout the day. Parking is free and includes shuttle service to and from parking lots. The events costs $30 per person and includes a commemorative wine glass and 12 tasting tickets (for ages 21 and older). Additional tasting tickets may be purchased at the Unicoi Wine Market booth.
